1. How to get around construction
When adventuring off campus consider allowing for a little extra driving time to or from your destination as a result of summer road closings. Hwy 12 east from County H to Highway 67 will be closed until Sept. 23. Highway 59 from Whitewater to Palmyra will also be rerouted. Detour routes can be found at www.uww.edu/info/directions/.

2. Where to pay parking tickets
If you have a car on campus, it is very likely you and your windshield will come face-to-face with a wicked pink envelope, otherwise known as a parking ticket at some point during the semester. In order to pay citations, check or cash can be mailed to:
UW-W Visitor & Parking Services
Visitor Center
826 Starin Road
Whitewater, WI 53092

For more information, call 262-472-1011.

3. Transit Information
Students traveling to Waukesha and Milwaukee for the weekend can take advantage of transportation services, which include two eastbound trips on Fridays and two westbound trips on Sundays. For departure schedules visit http://www.uww.edu/adminaffairs/parking/ and click on Transit Information.

4. Whitewater Weekends
The James R. Connor University Center staff came together to create a one-of-a-kind Web site called “Whitewater Weekends.” Students can visit http://uc.uww.edu/weekends/ for useful links, day trip suggestions and information about activities happening during the weekend.
