This newsroom and the people who occupy it have been responsible for many of my most cherished college memories, and some of my most eye-opening struggles.
This staff consists of some of the most dedicated, hard-working and passionate people I've met, and I'm going to miss the incredibly late nights of pumping out an entire news section, even the criticism and stress, but mostly the incredible staff. I have a deep respect for all of you, and you're all responsible for making up this crash-course in chaos that has been both the time of my life and the reason for my lack of sleep in the last three semesters.
To those who came before me: Brandon Gorman, former editor-in-chief, Jeremy Pink, former managing editor and former news editor Sarah Millard. You are not only some of the best reporters, but the best people I've known. I continue to look up to you as I move on with my life as you did.
Also, to former photo editor Alison Wisneski, you're one of the best friends I've ever had. You never stopped being there for me, making me laugh, and making my time at UW-Whitewater truly special. I have no doubt you'll be a friend of mine for life.
I never stopped learning from my partner-in-crime, Sarah Kloepping. My co-newsie, working alongside you has been a pleasure and privilege. It is going to be extremely hard to find someone who I work with half as well as I did with you. I will miss our late-night snacks and laughing fits in order to help each other through Monday night. Our deep understanding of each other is something I'll always admire, just as much as your determination and knowledge. I can only hope to live up to the journalist you already are … I believe you can fly (only you will get that).
To Joe Luther, you are the kindest person I think I'll ever know. No matter what you may think, I loved working with you when you were part of the news section. I consider you, me and Kloepping a dream team. Congratulations on becoming the next managing editor.

Worst staff ever, based solely on the current and past issues of the RP.
