Have you always been interested in politics?
I have; my family likes to keep tabs on stuff. It is ingrained in me. Education issues are my favorite thing about politics. I am seven of nine grandkids who went to school here.
What are problems you plan to address in the coming year?
Tuition is always going to be a big issue. Parking next year will be even more evident. I would like to improve communication with the students. I would like the executive board to stay up to date.
What are some changes you want to bring to WSG?
I am going to try hard to get to student organizations meetings once a month. Student org communication is a huge thing. I think, instead of hoping the students will reach us, we need to reach the students. I will set aside time for any problem big or small.
Were you involved in student government in high school?
I was vice president for two years. Our student council was more about planning programs, WSG is more legitimate. My main motivation to be in WSG was when I helped Nick Santilli run his campaign.
Do you have any other hobbies?
My main hobby is sports. I am really into basketball and softball. I am not the type of person who goes out a lot; I like to stay in [to] watch movies, and play games.
