Everyday cleaning products that you may use could, ultimately, be affecting the atmosphere around you. One way that people are trying to put an end to this environmentally unfriendly way is by using Method products. Method products are all environmentally friendly. Everything that goes into the Method products is safe and non-toxic.
Stores, such as Walmart and Sentry, are starting to see the benefits of these "green" products. As a result of higher sales, stores such as Walmart, Sentry and Babies "R" Us are stocking their shelves with more of these "green" products, and it is not only benefiting the environment but it is also benefiting the stores that carry these products. More and more individuals are becoming aware of this "green" method, and as a result are purchasing the more environmentally-friendly products.
As people become aware of this "green" cleaning method they are more apt to purchase something that is not going to harm the environment, and when they see that certain stores are trying to promote this action of "green" cleaning they get the feeling of security. This will ultimately lead to the feeling that they can trust the store that is selling these products and that the stores care about the world just as much as they do.
Students who are tight on cash and may not feel like they can participate in this environmentally-friendly "green" cleaning need not worry. All Method products are $12 or under. Their products are all well worth their reasonable prices, for they are long-lasting and come in a very gracious amount. They are packaged very handsomely as well. However, when purchasing these "green" products one must be willing to research the topic of organic substances. This, student Ashley Petry informed me, will help the purchaser to not become a victim of "green washing."
"Green washing" is when a product is said to be non-toxic but isn't truly organic, meaning that the products one may be purchasing contain something within that is toxic, or not 100 percent organic. Also, some may find it beneficial to know that certain floor cleaning products, such as Swiffer Wet Jets can cause pets to become ill.
At a Campus Green's meeting, Patrick Broderick, the Green's president, stated that even though stores have started to stock their shelves and have started to promote the selling of "green" products, he feels that everyone needs to keep trying to get the word out about "green" products, as they are just starting to emerge.
