The following pleas have been offered in felony charges stemming from a drug raid in Whitewater Dec. 10. Eleven people were arrested in the bust, including seven UW-Whitewater students

Ian Helfenstein plead not guilty in a marijuana delivery charge from May 31, 2007. Helfenstein waived his right to a preliminary hearing. His status conference is scheduled for Feb. 14.

Daniel Adams plead not guilty to bail jumping and delivery of schedule IV drugs. Schedule IV drugs include a lower chance for abuse compared to schedule I-III drugs. However, a prescription is required for the schedule IV drugs.

Schedule II drugs are also highly addictive, but they can be used for certain medical conditions. A prescription is required for the drugs which include morphine and cocaine, but even under medical supervision, dependency on the drugs can develop.

Schedule III drugs are less addictive than I and II, and also can serve a medical purpose. They contain substances like hydrocodone and Anabolic steroids.
