I decided to run to be Whitewater Student Government president in October of 2008. At the time I was a member of WSG, serving as the public relations director. It's also important to note that this is only my second year involved with WSG. I knew the position required a great amount of energy, work, enthusiasm and responsibility, all of which I was ready and willing to commit.
