"What You Need to Know About Hate Crimes on Your Campus," a national Webinar on preventing hate crimes, will be held Nov. 3 from noon to 2 p.m. in the University Center room 259B. Elizabeth Ogunsola, assistant to the chancellor for affirmative action, said the Webinar is an opportunity for students to educate themselves about hate crimes on college campuses.
Students no longer need to rely on PowerPoints and posterboard to create effective and interesting presentations and projects for class. A new sound booth was added to the Andersen Library Media Lab as part of the renovation the library underwent this summer.
UW-Whitewater students will have the opportunity to receive two different scholarships this fall. Applications are being accepted for the Mark Dorn Scholarship and James R. Connor Scholarship. Student Foundation representatives will be in the University Center for the next few weeks to hand out applications and assist students.
